| First and Foremost, THANK YOU to each of our faithful
members!! You are the foundation of success for our profession, for
our patient's and the public health, and for the networking power we
experience here in Alameda County. To find out exactly where and
how the ADHA, CDHA and EBC are working for you, visit the web

events and Legislative updates are posted daily.
We are proud and excited that the Dental Hygiene Committee of California (DHCC)
was created on July 1, 2009. It is the first of its kind in the United States! For more
information visit the DHCC web site at www.dhcc.ca.gov.
ATTENTION ALL LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENISTS:
Good news! ADHA will start quarterly dues billing in the fall. You will only be able to
take advantage of this with a credit card online. Dues notices will be sent only via email
for those who sign up for the quarterly payments, everyone else will continue to get
their dues statement in the mail. If you need to renew your membership or have
hesitated to become a member due to financial responsibilities, here is your opportunity
to become a member of the largest voice and supportive network for the profession of
dental hygiene. Visit www.adha.org to sign up in real time. Your component # is 02.
I have to say, our first planning session/board meeting for 2009-2010 was so
much fun!. Our scheduling, planning and brainstorming was completed with an energy
of camaraderie and laughter. Thank you to all of our EBC Board volunteers. Your
