Focus is placed mostly upon developing leaders to grow and sustain healthy organizations. Developing followership is equally essential to building trust and confidence within the dental practice and organization. Understanding group dynamics and intentionally developing followership among individuals and groups are vital to the health of organizations. This course will enlighten attendees on the differences between followership and leadership, how leaders build followers, and how to build a sustainable plan within the dental practice and organization to promote succession planning and growth. This course will also discuss principles of emotional intelligence that are essential to communication, building trust, conflict management, and influential negotiation within the dental practice and organizations. Objectives:
To reach high performance, you must consider more than your passions and efforts. Why are some people miserable and others happy during their journey? High-performance teams begin with everyone understanding their internal standards such as their identity, beliefs, values, and expectations for excellence and becoming crystal clear on what that means individually and how that shows up in your daily excellence. This course introduces concepts of gaining personal clarity and aligning your internal standards to how you are showing up every day in your team.

Labor laws can be intimidating, but you will come to understand they are common sense laws made to protect employees. Objectives - to increase understanding of the following:
