About

Diana Corley Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree California Dental Hygiene Students

Diana Corley, BS, RDH was a long-time member and leader of the San Diego County Dental Hygienists’ Society. Mrs. Corley received her degree in dental hygiene in 1971 from Wichita State University in Kansas and became a CDHA member in 1992 when she moved to California. During her service with the San Diego County Dental Hygienists’ Society, Mrs. Corley held every possible board position. She was known for her relentless determination and would always strive to do just a little more. She led with grace, enthusiasm, and determination, mentoring hundreds of new leaders far beyond her San Diego component borders. A shining example of living life to the fullest despite adversity. Diana Corley succumbed to complications with oral cancer in 2015.

The CDHA Foundation would like to thank the Stone Family Foundation and CDHA Past President Heidi Coggan for coordinating the funds to initiate and sustain the Diana Corley Scholarship.
