Membership

Your membership automatically renews each year unless you have indicated you want a paper renewal invoice. You can also renew your membership online.

All members are encouraged to get involved, and your level of engagement is entirely up to you. Some of our engagement opportunities include: participating in meetings with your local component to take advantage of valuable networking opportunities, representing your component at the House of Delegates, and serving on one of CDHA’s councils.

Group rates on many insurance plans; discounted CEUs, CDHA Journal, and more. The benefits of membership include discounts on products, services, and resources vital to you and your practice. These include items that make routine tasks easier, tools for managing your practice, information channels that expand your knowledge base, and career opportunities.

CDHA accepts personal and business checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also offer Professional members the ability to pay in four equal quarterly payments.

Membership expires one year from the join date. Student membership lasts two years.

CDHA has a long history of being actively engaged in the legislative process, educating legislators and policymakers about the role dental hygienists play in California's oral health care delivery system, and protecting and expanding the dental hygiene practice. Through our advocacy efforts, CDHA helps thousands of dental hygienists speak as one, providing a collective voice in California’s State Capitol.

Visit the member benefits page for the list of options. You can contact the insurance company directly and give them your member number for the group rates. All policies are set up independently by the company.
